Committees
The committees participate in the program of the Society’s meetings. Separate committee meetings offer the opportunity to present and discuss topics from special fields of interest in front of a circle of competent experts. Every member of the Society has the right to participate in the committees of their choice. Membership in a committee of the DStatG is acquired by written declaration to the office.
If a committee meets in the context of a conference, a general “Invitation to Submit Presentations” is issued to the members. Applications for papers must include an informative abstract or, even better, a long version of the paper. A selection process is usually held among the presentation applications. Currently, nine committees are active:
